As an InterNACHI inspector, I have the obligation:  

 

• stay up to date with the industry's most rigorous continuing education and online courses, which have earned hundreds of approvals and accreditations from states and government agencies;

 

• adhere to easy-to-understand standards of practice;

 

• to respect a strict code of ethics, which thinks of customers first; And

 

• use state-of-the-art inspection equipment and report writing software so that my clients can make an informed decision about the home they want to buy or sell. 

 

Also, continuing education is an integral part of InterNACHI's mission to help inspectors maintain a high standard of excellence during inspections, allows InterNACHI members to meet the new requirements of current legislation and helps to ensure that each member recognizes the changes in the building inspection industry.
